I’ve been perusing the Apple website for a while now in the search for a laptop. My original laptop died in mysterious circumstances, if you count overheating and knackering the CPU as mysterious.
Since I already have 2 PC’s at home, running various OS’s depending on what mood I’m in, I had an epiphany: Why not get a Mac? I wouldn’t be using the laptop on anything but surfing the web, listening to music and watching DVD’s, with the odd bit of html/css/assorted-source-code-editing thrown in.
I don’t think I can afford a powerbook, so I’m after an iBook with 512Mb RAM and built in Bluetooth as upgrades to the standard.
If anyone’s got any suggestions as to whether or not this is a wise decision, please, pipe up. I want to reassure myself that I’m not wasting my money. ;)
