I’m thinking of growing a beard. Not to make myself look distinguished. Neither is it to make me look cool nor older than I actually am. It’s mainly because I’m damned lazy.
The way I see it, beardage is the only way to go for the person who cannot be arsed to shave in the mornings. When you have this brand of lazyness, plus a small amount of Shaveaphobia(1) I think cultivating a beard is an enevitable thing.
So I’m giving it a go. I may post pictures of my progress. Then again, I may not. It depends which way the wind is blowing.
Footnotes:
(1) Shaveaphobia: A fear of shaving because it may result in:
- Shaving rash
- Spots
- Dry skin
- All of the above

I never thought I’d say this but I think some men look better with beards. Never full beards though, just moustache and chin… I “made” BF grow one once and I liked it, but he hated it…
Beards still require “maintenance” though, especially if you don’t have a full one…

I decided to grow one once for the same reason. Lets fogo the fact that certain part sof my face simply wont grow hair, but I did it.
I freaked out when I was eating a sandwich, and i got mayonaise stuck in it. It’s really tough to eat delicious sauces and condiments with hair around your lips.

I had a goatie for a while. As a student. My mum said it made me look like a Spanish Conquistador. Everyone else said it made me look….not good. I know what you’re saying though, I should probably shave twice a day, that’s how ‘hirsiute’ I am…shaving is a pain. TBH, these days I shave every other day and if I look a bit…tatty, well I work in IT, who the hell cares!
