I’ve released my Fuzzy DateTime plugin for public consumption. If you want to check it out you can get it from wp-plugins.org or download it as a zip file from here.
If you have any problems, suggestions or feedback, either leave a comment or email me (contact details in the readme).

Am trying out the Fuzzy Date plugin. Wondering if it should not also have a companion routine that works for comment dates?

I hadn’t thought about that. It shouldn’t be too much trouble to make one for comments.
Thanks Gary, I’ll put that on my new features list.

Just noticed that if it is 1 day ago - it says “1 days ago” (plural) not sure if same would happen for “1 hour”, “1 week” etc??

When you want ‘1 day ago’ you can just change the ‘yesterday’ field in your options panel to the text ‘1 day ago’.
Since yesterday will always be 1 day ago you don’t even have to use any replacement strings.
The same goes for last week, last month and last year.
The 1 hour thing is handled by the %MinutesOrHoursSince% replacement, which automatically adds hour, hours, minute or minutes depending on the amount of time since the post.

Actually, I’ve just looked at your site and I see what you mean. I’m not sure how that’s happening. I’ll take a look later on tonight.
Well spotted.

Ok, I’ve figured out where the problem is. I’ve just got to break down a solution for it and I’ll release v0.6. It should get released sometime tomorrow.

[I buried this in an old post because I couldn't find a contact form. I'm not a spambot. :-) You can delete this comment when you're done with it.]
Thanks for helping with the development of Blogs Of The Day. Much hard work has gone into new features. The good news is that BOTD now harvests metadata about your posts and pages, such as the categories, and will soon be able to produce rankings based on this metadata. The bad news is that your site won’t be listed until you update your plugin source. Simply copy and paste the source from http://blogsoftheday.com into your plugin editor, ensuring there are no blank spaces or lines before or after the PHP tags. Please address any questions to this email address until I set up email at blogsoftheday.com.
Thank you,
Andy Skelton
