Well, it's been a long while since I've updated this plugin. It's not been tested with 2.0 at all since I no longer use it myself.

I'll take a look into it for you though, but it may take a little while. I'll have to set up a test blog at home and run it through it's paces.

I'll let you know how it's going in the next couple of days via email.

Hi there! I really like your plugin, but I'm having some trouble. Not sure if it's a 2.0 problem or not. When I activate it, I get:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at wordpress/wp-content/plugins/splees_fuzzy_datetime.php:549) in wordpress/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 16

It does activate though, so I put your code in, and while it worked there as well, I'm getting "headers already sent" in the pages. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Gary, I still haven't been able to break this on my test server, no matter what I set the time/date and offset to...

I'm still persevering though. Is there anything strange (other than the time offset) about your setup? e.g. is UTC (displayed in the options section of wp) actually not UTC?

The admin panel works now. I think the time is still a problem though - seems like it is really confused now. I am displaying both times on my site so you can see what it is doing.
It is the 23rd today yet says 21st was yesterday?
April 21 10:36 pm Fuzzy Time: yesterday, terribly early in the morning
April 19 9:59 pm Fuzzy Time: 3 days ago, terribly early in the morning
April 19 8:55 am Fuzzy Time: 4 days ago, mid-afternoon

Gary, I think I may have solved the mystery of the missing hours.

It's in both the latest code on wp-plugins.org and the zip archive. Pick your poison. Give it a blast and tell me how you get on. WP's time localisation is a bit of a nightmare, so it's entirely possible it won't work as expected, but it seems to work ok on my test blog which I've made 2 hours ahead.

sorry Gary, that's my fault for not testing the code properly. I'll get that fixed pronto.

As for the time difference, I'll look into that and get a fix for it this weekend. In the meantime I'll upload a new version of 0.6 without the silly typo in the next hour or two.

Not sure how much of this will make it past the comment parser but when I tried to update the text in the Admin Panel I got an error that "fuzzy_datetime.php" could not be updated or something like that. I went and looked at the code and sure enought the form name line has:
"page=fuzzy_datetime.php" instead of
"page=splees_fuzzy_datetime.php"

?page=splees_fuzzy_datetime.php">

I added the "splees_" and it now works fine.

I changed the "Yesterday" text to be the same as "Today" and do notice that the time is off by 2 hours?. The post I just wrote says I wrote it 2 hours ago. I believe my blog host is 2 hours ahead of me - so am wondering if this is where the time error is coming in??

Thanks again!!

Just noticed that it is now almost 11pm and a post I just put up 5 minutes ago says that it was posted last night instead of tonight? I am guessing that the time comparison is not adjusted to the local time zone??

Wondering if for the first 24 hours maybe need something different - "couple hours ago"??
