Meh.
That’s my verdict on the film. Simply “meh”.
Once you cut past all the flashy lights and soppy/wooden acting there’s not much flesh on dem bones. In fact, other than the awesome duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin/Vader, the only pertinent bits are at the end, the tying of the overall plot’s loose ends.
The phrase “not overly impressed” springs to mind. Unfortunately, it’s still better than episodes 1 and 2.

Et tu Splee, et tu?
The thing is, I love the flashy lights. Agreed about the so-called ‘acting’ (Why oh why did he have to direct the prequels? he didn’t do the last two of the trilogy)
And I love the opening sequence, I could just watch that again and again….

I dunno, maybe I’m being a little harsh. I’m not saying that I didn’t enjoy it, I just wasn’t bowled over. I’m going to see it again because everyone who I’ve spoken to has been surprised by my opinion on the film.
Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood or somthing.

Hayden suffers from ‘The skywalker curse’. it’s the fact that no actor who plays a skywalker can act.

Actually, I fell asleep waiting for the sword fight of Obi and Anakin to be over towards the last part of the movie.
