I’m finding it hard to find time for anything but work at the moment. Project deadlines + buglist as long as your arm = tired + busy
When it rains, it pours eh?

I found a site today via BlogsOfTheDay while browsing around and generally procrastinating. The site is called TipMonkies and is similar to “The Solutionarium” that I set up a while back and subsequently destroyed due to a lack of time and energy.
TipMonkies is simply choc-full of useful, handy information for Windows, Linux and Mac users. It’s just amazing how much information is there and the breadth of the tips goes from backing up your del.icio.us links using Excel to creating a firewall using IPTABLES.
TipMonkies is going in my RSS feeds as one of my new favorite procrastination sites. Even though it’s procrastination it’s educational so it doesn’t weigh quite so heavily on my concience.
Well, I’m back. I had a really relaxing time in Spain; my whole holiday consisted of sitting by the pool reading and falling asleep in the sun. I didn’t have to think about work once, which was bliss. We had a tiny bit of rain with accompanying thunderstorm, and that lasted a whole 10 minutes.
I also mulled over the redesign of my blog which I mentioned a while ago and have what I think are the basics for the new layout. It’s going to be very summery, as I’m in that kind of mood at the moment, although it’s going to be simple enough that I will be able to switch it for autumn/winter/spring with a few deft changes to the CSS.
It’s still going to be a while away as I’m still going to be working hard during the day and pottering around with my still-to-be-completed Guestblock plugin and various other bits and pieces. Plus, I’m lazy when it comes to my own projects.
Anyhoo, back to the real world, and back to work.
